Wednesday night May 10 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s the San Francisco Symphony. Guest conductor Ludovic Morlot leads the group in Ravel’s “Mother Goose Suite” and Timothy Higgins “Trombone Concerto”. Also on the program Copland’s “Appalachian Spring conducted by Music Director Laureate Michael Tilson Thomas.

Wednesday night August 31 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s the “Los Angeles Philharmonic”.  Guest Conductor Ludovic Morlot leads the Philharmonic in Shostakovich “10th Symphony”.  Also on the program Prokofiev’s “1st Piano Concerto” featuring pianist Sergio Tiempo and Thorvaldsdottir’s “Metacosmos”
