Wednesday night May 31 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s the San Francisco Symphony. You’ll hear Stravinsky’s “The Rite of Spring” and the “Violin Concerto” with soloist Leila Josefowicz. Music Director Esa-Pekka Salonen conducts.

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 you’ll hear Stravinsky’s “The Rite of Spring” in a two-piano version on “The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center”.  At 8:00 you’ll hear Dvorak’s “Piano Quintet” on the “Santa Fe Chamber Music” series.

Leonidas Kavakos is the soloist in Stravinsky’s “Violin Concerto”, part of an all-Stravinsky program with Music Director Michael Tilson Thomas conducting. Also on the program the 1947 revisions of “Petrushka” and “The Rite of Spring”.
