Susanna Mälkki guest conducts Schubert’s “Unfinished Symphony” and Richard Strauss’ “Death and Transfiguration”. Also on the program Saariaho’s “HUSH”. 

Wednesday night January 15 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL 90.9 FMHD1 you’ll hear the second program in a new series from the Cleveland Orchestra. You’ll hear Schubert’s “Unfinished Symphony” and Berg’s “Lyric Suite”. Franz Welser-Most conducts. Also on the program Schubert’s “Mass No. 6”.

Thursday night August 11 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s a “Deutsche Welle Festival Concert”. Herbert Blomstedt leads the Vienna Philharmonic in Bruckner’s “4th Symphony”, the “Romantic” and Schubert’s “Unfinished” Symphony.  Also on the program, Weber’s “1st Piano Concerto”

Tonight at 7:00 on the Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast”. Music Director Riccardo Muti leads the group in Schubert’s “Unfinished Symphony” and Tchaikovsky’s “3rd Symphony”. Also on the program Stravinsky’s “Firebird Suite”.

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s the second program in a new series titled “This Week from China’s National Centre for the Performing Arts”. You’ll hear Beethoven’s “8th Symphony” and Schubert’s “Unfinished” Symphony.
