Forensic Meteorology: How past weather can help settle a case

Forensic meteorologists investigate and reconstruct past weather events. They often offer their expertise to help settle insurance and legal disputes that are driven by weather events. 

Forensic meteorologists focus on an array of cases from houses damaged by hail to slip and fall cases.
