  • Illinois honored 28 schools with Blue Ribbon Schools awards at an event at the Governor’s Mansion this week.
  • The Illinois women’s basketball team beat Michigan State 71-69 yesterday in their second game of the Big Ten Tournament in Indiana.
  • Illinois Governor JB Pritzker has been withholding about two percent of state funding for public universities. That’s put them in a difficult position as they adjust to reduced state funding.
