  • Vaccine rollout has been frustrating for many people in the state’s Phase 1B who have had trouble getting appointments. In addition to seniors, that group also includes teachers.

  • Illinois state officials will face no criminal charges for mishandling multiple deadly Legionnaires’ disease outbreaks at a Quincy veterans' home.

  • The Illinois Department of Public Health expects to start sending out a larger number of first COVID vaccine doses come March, but that number will drop for a few weeks as more second doses are needed.
