  • Illinois state representatives advanced on Thursday night a proposal meant to protect patients who get abortions and their providers who are targeted by states that have banned abortions.
  • It’s been two years since Trump supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol to overturn the presidential election. About 35 Illinoisans have been charged in connection with the riot.
  • The University of Illinois is no longer requiring COVID-19 vaccines for students or employees.
