  • The White House announced Gregory Harris will be its nominee for U.S. Attorney for the central district of Illinois. The 46-county district includes Champaign-Urbana, Danville and Decatur.

  • A labor shortage at U.S. factories is making it hard for the Champaign school district to find school lunch ingredients.

In today's deep dive, we'll hear Illinois Newsroom’s Reginald Hardwick conversation with two people who are documenting the next generation of news outlets. This is part of our continuing coverage this week looking at "Who's in Charge of The News?"
