  • A new candidate appears to be emerging in the race to succeed embattled Illinois House Speaker Michael Madigan.

  • llinois Republicans will make another effort to tackle redistricting during the upcoming session of the General Assembly.

  • During an Urbana Board of Education meeting last night, school officials said they plan to welcome back some students to the classroom this month.  

  • Two more people have died from COVID-19 in Champaign County — bringing the county’s total fatalities to 90.
