The 21st Show

The 21st—Tuesday, January 29, 2020

Governor J.B. Pritzker is delivering his first stand-alone State of the State address.

We also got analysis from Illinois Public Radio’s Statehouse Bureau Chief Brian Mackey and found out what some members of the General Assembly hoped to hear from the governor today. We also looked at the state of education and the environment in Illinois ahead of the governor’s speech.

And, Tony Arnold from WBEZ in Chicago joined us to look at how federal ethics investigations have put a dark cloud over Springfield.
