For a few years, emily the band, a Central Illinois indie alt-pop queer girl group, has been making music about love in its many forms. They recently moved to a new label and came out with a new EP. The band’s namesake is Emily Antonacci who sings and plays ukelele. Camryn Proctor plays guitar, melodica, and sings. And Abbey Haste is on drums and percussion. In March 2025, we talked about about the new album, and listened to them perform acoustic versions of a couple of the band's songs.
