Children and COVID-19: What Precautions Should You Take?

Illinois could transition into Phase 5 and remove all capacity limitations on businesses with life returning to a new “normal.” However, children 11-years-old and younger have not been approved to be vaccinated for COVID-19 and parents are left wondering what’s considered safe for their children.

The 21st spoke to a pediatrician and a school nurse about how families can enjoy the summer safely.
