Congresswoman Delia Ramirez weighs in on election issues as DNC approaches final stretch
It’s the fourth and final day of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago. Last night, Democrats heard from former President Bill Clinton, and Kamala Harris’ running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz.
Delia Ramirez is one of the newest members of Illinois’ congressional delegation. She’s in her first term- representing the 3rd district, which goes from the north side of Chicago out to the western suburbs.
She shares her thoughts on President Joe Biden dropping out of the presidential race last month, what both Republicans and Democrats need to do better in order to get the Latino vote, and providing more aid to Israel in its war against Hamas that has killed more than 40,000 Palestinians.
