Demand for COVID-19 testing is on the rise in Illinois, and that will likely continue with an expected post-holiday surge in cases due to indoor gatherings and travel. As important as testing is in tracing and preventing outbreaks of the virus, there are disparities in testing access across communities.
The 21st speaks to wo guests who have been working to expand testing in their area and a reporter who covers public health for WBEZ’s government desk about the inequality when it comes to COVID-19 testing access.
Guests:
Kristen Schorsch, Covers Public Health, WBEZ Government Desk
