Interview: Deon Thomas, Illini Basketball Great
As the NCAA Basketball tournament continues this week, it overlaps with the Jewish holiday of Passover, which begins this Saturday. Deon Thomas, a great of the University of Illinois basketball found a special connection to Judaism while playing professionally in Israel. The 21st was joined by University of Illinois basketball great Deon Thomas to talk about a police incident during his youth, his time with the Illini in the 1990s, playing professional basketball in Israel, and his unique connection to Judaism.
