ENCORE: Coree Woltering - Ultramarathoner

Editor's Note: This segment originally aired in July 2020.

One thousand, one hundred and forty-seven miles. That’s how long Illinois based ultramarathoner Coree Woltering’s last race was. Hailing from Ottawa, Illinois, Woltering set the new record for the Ice Age Trail — which stretches across the entire width of Wisconsin — two weeks ago. Running day and night, he completed the entire trail in 21 days, 13 hours, and 35 minutes besting the previous record by almost 5 hours. Coree has also won 5 races in 2019, and is a 2-time Ironman 70.3 World Championship Finisher.
