Former Republican legislators discuss why they stepped away from politics

There has been notable turnover in the Illinois General Assembly in recent years, especially among Republicans.

Legislators who are young, or at least young for politics, are choosing to resign or not seek reelection. Now, a number of them are not just out of the General Assembly, but out of politics altogether.

Two former Republican politicians join us to talk about why they left politics.
