Governor JB Pritzker addressed a variety of topics in his 2026 State of the State Address including housing affordability, junk fees, Children's Social Media Safety Act, and many ideas related to public schools and higher education in the state.
Pritzker also reiterated criticism of President Trump's policies. That includes immigration enforcement and withholding federal funding from the state. Two policy experts share their takeaways and analysis of the speech.
