Illinois churches work together to erase medical debt

It’s estimated that more than 71 million Americans have debt in collections, and two former debt collectors decided to break the cycle of chasing and hounding Americans to pay up.

Rip Medical Debt, is a charity that has bought and forgiven over $9.5 billion of medical debt for more than 6.3 million families.

Today, we explore how Illinois churches and organizations are working together to reduce medical debt.
