How Biden’s New Infrastructure Plan Affects Farmers

The next big item on President Joe Biden Administration’s legislative agenda is to pass a sweeping, $2.3 trillion infrastructure plan which the administration is calling the American Jobs Plan. The plan could have significant impacts for Illinois, particularly for its rural area and agricultural industries, in moving U.S. agriculture towards carbon-neutral by 2050. 

The 21st spoke with two agriculture reporters to talk about the plan, and what it could mean for farmers and rural areas of Illinois.
