How to navigate the challenges of medical debt

Americans owe more than $220 billion dollars in medical debt, according to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Illinois has launched a medical debt relief program aimed at alleviating some of the burden.The VP of a national non-profit that worked with the state on the program as well as the host of a podcast that focuses on the rising costs of health care join the program.
