The Illinois General Assembly has been back in session this week — and today is the last day they’re scheduled to meet this year. One of the big agenda items has been the SAFE-T Act at large and the end of cash bail, along with state budgetary matters.

To talk about what’s happened in the Illinois Capitol this week, and continues today, two statehouse reporters joined The 21st.
