Illinoisans celebrate Black Arts Month

The Black Arts & Culture Alliance of Chicago is a nonprofit that until recently was known as The African American Arts Alliance. The group aims to be a hub for artists and voices of the diaspora, in their words "encouraging and celebrating Black artists' culture, society and influence."
