As we approach the coming legislative session, Republicans in the Illinois House and Senate have chosen new leaders for the next General Assembly In the Senate, that means state Sen. John Curran, of Downers Grove, will take over from Sen. Dan McConchie — and after McConchie spent just two years in the leadership role.
