Interview: Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL16)

We saw some competitive races for House seats around Illinois. Incumbent Democrat Cheri Bustos narrowly edged Esther Joy King in Illinois 17th Congressional district. In Illinois 6th Congressional District Democrat incumbent Sean Casten defeated Republican challenger Jeanne Ives. Incumbent Republican Rodney Davis comfortably defeated Democratic challenger Betsy Dirksen-Londrigan by nearly 10 percentage points, in a race that was widely expected to be more competitive. Meanwhile there is one race that is too close to call, incumbent Democrat Lauren Underwood trails Republican challenger Jim Oberweis by less than a thousand votes in the 14th Congressional District. Officials there say there are still thousands of mail-in ballots left to be counted.

in the 16th Congressional District, Rep. Adam Kinzinger (D-IL) won reelection defeating Democratic challenger Dana Brzozowski by nearly 30 points. The 21st speaks to the Incumbent on his reelection.
