As COVID-19 cases are on the rise, Illinois is updating its approach for dealing with the pandemic. As of July 15, 2020, the Illinois Department of Public Health was reporting 156,693 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 7,226 deaths. Dr. Ngozi Ezike, Director of the Illinois Department of Public Health talked with The 21st about the rise in cases of younger people and how to reach people that view not wearing a mask as a statement of their values.
