The end of summer may be approaching, but road trip season is still going strong. A big part of the road trip experience is taking in some of the great and weird sights along the way — motels and restaurants that date back to the heyday of Route 66 and super-sized landmarks, like the world’s largest catsup bottle in Collinsville, Illinois.
Journalist Rolando Pujol has chronicled all of this and more in his new book: "The Great American Retro Road Trip: A Celebration of Roadside Americana." He joins the program today.
