‘KPop Demon Hunters’ lead actress Arden Cho on her Illinois roots

“KPop Demon Hunters” is the most successful original movie on Netflix. It’s an animated film about three pop stars who sing by day and slay demons at night. The lead voice actress for the movie has roots in Illinois. Arden Cho plays “Rumi", one of the lead roles. Cho grew up in the Midwest and went to college at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
IPM News' Emily Hays sat down with Cho for an exclusive interview to discuss Cho’s time at U of I, how it shaped her identity, and what she hopes the movie will do for Hollywood.
