Live At ALPLM: Meet Historian Christian McWhirter
For the first time in months, The 21st went on the road with a live broadcast from the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum in Springfield on July 1, 2021.
Our second segment was an interview with Christian McWhirter, historian at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum. He shared some his studies on the 16th President's views on race. He also talks about a significant letter written by Lincoln that the museum is putting on display on July 7.
