Reactions to Mask Mandates in K-12 Schools

 

Governor J.B. Pritzker recently announced a statewide mask mandate for all daycares and P K through 12 schools — private and public. To discuss that school mask mandate, as well as the latest on COVID-19, The 21st was joined by a professor of infectious diseases at Southern Illinois University and an epidemiologist from the University of Illinois. 

Later on in the segment, we also discussed K-12 school sports and what they'll look like this year with the executive director of the Illinois High School Association.
