We begin with Oksana Masters. She was born in Ukraine in 1989. The time and location are significant, as it was three years after the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant disaster. Despite setbacks throughout her childhood, Oksana has gone on to have a stellar athletic career.

Today, Oskana joins us to talk more about her childhood and her life in Ukraine.

We'll also learn how she decided what sports to compete in and who inspires her.

Lastly, she'll tell us more about the book she published about her life called "The Hard Parts: A Memoir of Courage and Triumph."
