The state fair’s political days this week were a tale of two parties.

Governor J.B. Pritzker and Illinois Treasurer Michael Frerichs spoke for the Democrats on Wednesday. State Senate Minority Leader John Curran and Illinois GOP leader Kathy Salvi spoke on Thursday for the Republicans.
