Preventing suicide among veterans

The state of Illinois recently joined the Governor’s and Mayor’s Challenge to Prevent Suicide Among Service Members, Veterans, and their Families. This is a national effort that aims to bring together teams from across the government to work on this problem.
The 21st spoke to Dr. Teresa Glaze, who has a Ph.D. in psychodynamic psychotherapy and is a licensed clinical social worker to discuss death by suicide among veterans and other people associated with the military.
