Reporter Roundtable: Election Eve

Ken Jones

We are one day away from the election. As of yesterday, state officials say nearly 3.5 million people have already voted in Illinois. That’s about 62% of the number of people who cast ballots in the 2016 presidential election. An increasing number of congressional campaigns in Illinois are getting national attention. In fact, both the Trump and Biden campaigns have waded into at least two of these House races with messages of support for their respective candidates — aiming to give them a final push as election season draws to a close.

We talked with three journalists for a final preview on these races.
