GOP U.S. Senate candidate Casey Chlebek, Polish immigrant, talks immigration reform, taxes, ‘cultural Marxism’
Christine Hatfield/Illinois Public Media
We continue our series of conversations with candidate seeking to replace outgoing U.S. Senator Dick Durbin. Casey Chlebek is one of the half dozen Republicans running in the primary. Born and raised in Poland, Chlebek immigrated to Chicago with his family.
He attended Harold Washington College and then transferred to the University of Illinois. He graduated with a degree in computer science in 1971. Chlebek went into the field of information technology and real estate.
This is his third time running for the U.S. Senate. Chlebek joins the program from our studio in Urbana.
