The latest on the Illinois state flag redesign effort

The people of Illinois have spoken and what's old is new again. Illinoisans are saying "no" to a new state flag ... at least the ten designed put up for a vote by the State Flag Commission. The voters said the current flag is perfectly adequate.
The flag commission will now prepare and deliver a reporter to the Illinois General Assembly and lawmakers themselves are the next to vote. An expert on American flags and a member of the flag commission provide the latest updates.
