Small businesses often turn to non-bank lenders to borrow money, but hidden terms mean those businesses often have to pay back more than what they borrowed in the first place.
An advocate for a bill to require APR transparency on small business loans from lenders joins the program today as well as an Illinois business owner, who became a victim of this practice. The business owner asked to remain anonymous, because of the harm she experienced.
