IL grad honors his Ghanaian roots with Tequila company

While there’s no shortage of craft beer and brew markets out of Illinois, the market for spirits was scarce when two University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign students had a vision.
The 21st was joined by one of the youngest creators of a premium liquor brand, whose idea with his best friend — through many long nights and challenges — became a successful millennial- and minority-owned company.
