Why many Black people are not participating in political protests this time around

While half a million people signed up to participate in national and statewide "Hands Off" protests against the Trump administration on April 5, there was buzz that some Black activists were deciding to do so. In social media posts, various Black influencers say they voted in the November election, but are staying home and concentrating on their mental health instead of protesting in the streets.
