This time around, we’re doing another dive into the mambo craze and all the great music that came from it. There was a time in the 1950s and early 1960s, when you couldn’t escape all the mambo action. And really, why would you? The mambo is such a core of hi-fi music and really added such a wonderful spark of energy to the music scene. On the program, we’ll hear from Tito Rodriguez, Billy May and His Rico Mambo Orchestra, Cal Tjader's Modern Mambo Quintet, and many more.
