This time around, it's another dive into private eye jazz…music that was moody and atmospheric. It could invoke suspense, action, and danger. And normally, when you think of private eye jazz or crime jazz you think of all those great pulse-pounding theme songs. But that wasn’t the entirety of the genre. When you get into the deeper cuts of the various soundtracks, you also get these incredibly cool selections that tend to get overlooked. So, that’s what we’re looking at this week, the cool side of private eye jazz.
