Live From Las Vegas (156)

This time on the program, we’re all about those artists of the hi-fi era and their live performances from Las Vegas. By the end of the 1950s, Las Vegas had set itself up as the new entertainment capital. Headliners could get steady work out there and tourists on vacation could see the best-of-the-best live on stage. And record companies took notice, releasing albums that could give you that Vegas showroom feeling from the comfort of your record player. On the program, we’ll hear from Bobby Darin, Jack Jones, Ray Anthony, and of course members of the Rat Pack.
