In the days of 78 rpm records, famous conductors such as Arturo Toscanini and Leopold Stokowski used to record popular concert favorites. Then, when the LP came in, such renowned maestros as Herbert von Karajan would record a wide variety of music up and down the classical repertory. On Saturday at 11 on WILL-FM, we will offer some famous musical bonbons as great maestros "stoop to conquer."
