Rejected Compositions

Imagine you are a composer who is commissioned to write a piece of music, and when it is finished, the patron rejects the composition. That has happened to some famous composers throughout history. Some of those stories have happy endings; the work, once rejected, suddenly lands in the standard repertory. On Saturday at 11 am on WILL-FM, we will hear some of this music and the stories behind their rejection.
