Community Conversations: Youth Incarceration and Danville

Illinois Public Media’s Sean Powers attended a community conversation on Dec. 13, 2012 in Urbana that was organized by the Champaign-Urbana Area Project, the Illinois Balanced and Restorative Justice Project, the ACCESS Initiative, and the Champaign County NAACP. This meeting focused on the challenges facing youth incarceration.

Then on Dec. 14, 2012, Sean and Illinois Public Media's Jim Meadows attended a community conversation in Danville, organized by Vermilion Advantage. That meeting focsed primarly on the public's perception about the future of Danville. Jim and Sean talked about what they learned with Host Craig Cohen.
