1994: Covering Our Heritage

"Covering our Heritage: African-American Quilts of Champaign-Urbana" was a 1994 exhibit at the Krannert Art Museum featuring local quilters in 1994.

A group of sub-freshmen at University of Illinois Laboratory High School interviewed the quilters as part of an oral history project under the direction of Barbara Wysocki and Philippa Kaplan, social studies teachers.
