This week, host and producer Kennedy Vincent starts off Dialogue with Malcolm D. Lee. He’s a writer, director, and producer. During the conversation, we talked about his breakthrough 1999 movie, "The Best Man," and how the film was extremely important in what it explored, African-American community and culture. We'll also hear about memorable behind-the-scenes moments, and how it felt to have his film screened at this year's Ebertfest.

Following Lee, is a dialogue with Chaz Ebert, CEO of rogerebert.com, and co-founder, producer, and host of Ebertfest. We'll hear about the dynamics and diversity she fosters for Ebertfest, and her role in its creation. She also shares tips for aspiring filmmakers on how to take their first step into this industry.

After Ebert, Producer Nidhi Shastri chats with the Little Indian Girl Collective, a women and indigenous-led storytelling collective. Like Lee, they also participated in Ebertfest, through their panel, “Women Who Embody Revolution Through Storytelling,” where they discussed the future of storytelling, preserving culture, and the power of women and indigenous artists when given proper resources. We'll close off with hearing about their work.
