Beethovenfest in Bonn; Rouse World Premiere; Buniatishvili plays Rachmaninoff’s 2nd

 

This week [Monday, September 8, - Sunday, September 14, 2014] on the Evening Concert we start with the first of the “Beethovenfest in Bonn” programs from the Deustche Welle Festival Concerts, then it’s a World Premiere by Christopher Rouse from the Chicago Symphony Orchestra; Wednesday Khatia Buniatishvili plays Rachmaninoff’s 2nd Piano  Concerto with the San Francisco Symphony; Thursday it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week” and Sunday, Chamber Music from Lincoln Center, plus The Civic Orchestra of Chicago.
