Benjamin Britten – The Beauty of Loneliness and of Pain

 

Tonight at 7:00 on the "The Evening Concert" on WILL-FM we celebrate the centenary of Benjamin Britten's birth (which was Nov. 22 of last year) with a special program on the man who said that music "has the beauty of loneliness and of pain". There'll be excerpts from 'The Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra" and other works.
