Evening Concert

Brahms 2nd Symphony from the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Dudamel Conducting

 

Tonight at 7:00 on "The Evening Concert" on WILL-FM it's the Los Angeles Philharmonic led by Music Director Gustavo Dudamel. The program features two symphonies: Brahm's 2nd, written in one of the more joyful times of his life, the summer of 1877, and the 1st Symphony of American composer John Corigliano's whose creation was, in the composer's words, "generated by feelings of loss, anger and frustration."
